May saw the local property market continue to perform well, with 9% more homes coming to the market compared to April, giving buyers a greater choice of properties. There was also a 14.5% increase in the number of homes going under offer month-on-month, showing that demand remains strong across Tayside.
Broughty Ferry proved particularly popular with buyers in May, with six of the ten most-viewed properties located in that area, highlighting its continued appeal among those looking to move.
Peter Ryder, Chairman of TSPC, said: “It’s great to see more homes coming onto the market in May, alongside an increase in the number of properties going under offer. This shows there is still plenty of activity from both buyers and sellers as we move through the spring market and into summer.”
