April continues the steady pace of the market, with 19% more properties coming to the market compared to March, giving buyers more choice. There was also a strong rise in sales, with 34% of more homes sold than the previous month and 59% more than April last year. In total, £28.3 million worth of property was sold over the course of the month, showing that demand remains high.
Peter Ryder, Chairman of TSPC, said: “It’s great to see more properties coming onto the market in April, along with such a strong increase in sales. This shows there’s still a healthy level of interest from buyers and confidence from sellers as the market continues to move at a good pace.”
